JD.HK Open Platform Store Qualification Management Standards
Chapter I Overview
In order to establish a good business order, strengthen the quality control of the stores on JD.HK Open Platform, and enhance the consumer shopping experience, JD.HK Open Platform Store Qualification Management Standards have been formulated.
Chapter II Scope of Application
These Specifications are applicable to all stores on JD.HK Open Platform.
Chapter III Merchant Qualification Requirements
3.1 Authenticity
Merchants must ensure that the qualifications provided are not forged or altered. If the relevant qualifications provided by the merchant are provided by a third party, such as trademark registration certificates, authorization letters, etc., please verify the authenticity of the documents first.
3.2 Integrity
Merchants need to upload and submit all required qualification documents according to the qualification submission process prompts, and the qualification requirements are as follows: For details of the qualification submission process, please refer to Online Entry Steps for JD.HK Open Platform Merchants.
3.2.1 Corporate Qualification

Return address | Must be an address in Mainland China (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are not allowed), and the detailed address must be specific to the house number |
Note: The foreign language qualifications of the company must be translated by the merchant, and the qualifications must be stamped with the merchant's official seal. |
3.2.2 Store qualification

3.2.3 Brand qualification

The scope of authorization applies to JD.HK | 1) Authorized parties at any level cannot only obtain distribution rights in Mainland China, such as: Mainland China, within China, and not specifically including the scope of authorization from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. 2) The scope of authorization of the resident entity can be overseas countries/regions, Greater China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, China cross-border business, etc. 3) Not limited to a certain non-JD.HK platform. |
General standards | 1) All qualifications must be affixed with the official seal of the resident company or the signature of the legal person (authorized person) (if the signature of the authorized person, the proof of the relationship between the authorized person and the resident business must be provided) |
2) Qualification materials other than Chinese or English must have a Chinese or English translation issued by a third-party translation agency with certification | |
3) Merchants need to upload qualifications according to the correct location, not to upload at will |
3.3 Effectiveness:
The relevant qualifications submitted by the merchants must be within the validity period, and the qualifications of the stores in operation have expired or are about to expire, and the relevant qualification information must be updated in a timely manner.
Chapter IV Qualification Re-inspection
JD.HK Open Platform has the right to conduct regular or special re-inspection of the qualifications of operating merchants.
4.1 Routine re-inspection: including daily inspection of all qualifications of the merchant.
4.2 Special re-inspection includes but is not limited to the following situations:
4.2.1 Based on judicial investigations, administrative supervision, media reports, public doubts, etc., JD.HK Open Platform has the right to conduct a special review of merchant qualifications.
.4.2.2 Based on the information obtained in the management of market order or the handling of transaction disputes, JD.HK Open Platform has the right to conduct a special review of the qualifications of the merchants.
4.2.3 In order to protect consumers' right to know and other legitimate rights & interests, ensure the authenticity & legality of data submitted by the merchant and abide by in real earnest the service agreement between JD.HK Open Platform and the merchant, JD.HK Open Platform is entitled to entrust relevant professional authentication organizations to identify the authenticity, legality and validity of relevant data submitted by the merchant as appropriate.
Chapter V Handling of Non-compliance of Merchant's Qualification
5.1 The merchant must ensure the authenticity of the submitted qualification. If the merchant provides JD.HK Open Platform with false qualification in registration link, JD.HK Open Platform is entitled to restrict its registration and the registration of stores of its affiliates. If a merchant is verified to provide JD.HK Open Platform with false qualification in operation link, JD.HK Open Platform is entitled to punish the merchant in accordance with the serious violation of "non-cooperation in data submission" in the Credit Management Rules for Merchant of JD.HK Open Platform.
5.2 If the merchant's submission of false qualification violates Chinese laws, regulations, national policies or infringes others' legitimate rights & interests (including but not limited to intellectual property rights), such merchant shall bear all the legal liabilities independently and shall compensate in full for any loss to the interests of JD.HK and its affiliates.
5.3 The merchant background system will remind the merchant to update its expiring qualification in time from 90 days before the expiration of qualification. If the merchant fails to submit the corresponding qualifications specified by laws or professional standards and industry qualifications within the time limit, JD.HK Open Platform is entitled to punish the merchant in accordance with the serious violation of "non-cooperation in data submission" in the Credit Management Rules for Merchant of JD.HK Open Platform since the expiration date of qualification.
5.4 The merchant shall supplement relevant qualifications according to the requirements of JD.HK Open Platform within 15 days if its qualifications are found to be unacceptable during regular re-inspection. JD.HK Open Platform is entitled to cancel the authorization of the merchant's corresponding brand and remove relevant products of the brand off shelves as well as require the merchant to supplement relevant qualifications of the brand and product within 15 days if its qualifications are found to be unacceptable during special re-inspection. If the merchant fails to submit corresponding qualifications within the time limit or provides unacceptable ones, JD.HK Open Platform is entitled to punish the merchant in accordance with the serious violation of "non-cooperation in data submission" in the Credit Management Rules for Merchant of JD.HK Open Platform.
Chapter VI Supplementary Provisions
6.1 Any conduct of the merchant of JD.HK Open Platform, arising before the effective date of the Management Rules, shall be subject to the rules effective at that time. Any such conduct arising after the effective date of the Management Rules, the Rules shall govern.
6.2 JD.HK Open Platform may adjust the management rules from time to time according to the platform operation and disclose such adjustment to the merchants through the announcement on JD.HK Open Platform. By settling on JD.HK Open Platform, the merchants acknowledge that they accept the Management Rules that will be adjusted and issued from time to time.
6.3 The merchant shall comply with national laws, administrative regulations, rules of authorities and other normative documents. The Rules shall be applicable to any alleged breach of national laws, administrative regulations, rules of authorities and normative documents, if such breach is stipulated therein. Any matter left unmentioned in the Rules shall be handled by JD.HK Open Platform at its discretion. But JD.HK Open Platform's handling of the merchants does not exempt them from the legal liability they should bear. Any conduct of the merchants on JD.HK Open Platform shall also be subject to the agreements signed with JD.HK and its affiliates; Any default shall be deemed as a breach of the Rules.
6.4 The Rules were released on December 7, 2018 and took effect on December 14, 2018.
